Daniel Schiffman speaking
Despite the diversity of his practice, Daniel Schiffman is among the most experienced and studied commercial gaming lawyers in New York State. He is highly regarded in that strictly regulated industry, and is an active member of the invitational International Masters of Gaming Law www.gaminglawmasters.com
In practice since 1962, Dan continues to build an enviable reputation as a commercial litigator, negotiator and business advisor, and has been appointed as a trusted guardian ad litem, court evaluator, mediator, special master, referee and receiver. Some of his writings and participation in continuing legal education programs are referred to below. His recognition in The Best Lawyers in America is an unusual distinction for a solo practitioner who limits client intake to his personal workload. Some examples of his work are shown under the "case history" tab in his profile at www.bestlawyers.com/lawyers/daniel_schiffman He has also been designated as a Superlawyer, enjoys a long-standing Martindale-Hubbell av (pre-eminent) rating and a biographical listing in Who's Who in America.

As a former professional musician, Dan's civic activities gravitate toward support of the arts and encouragement of young people. He served long terms as Legal Advisor to the New York City Junior Chamber of Commerce, as an Officer and Trustee of the American Symphony Orchestra, and as Music Chairman, a Governor and an Officer of the National Arts Club.
